Please Note: The dates for the Holiday Break have been changed due to MN Statute. The statute states that NewYear's Day, when on a Sunday, must be observed the following Monday therefore we will not have school MONDAY, JANUARY 2. We will make up this day on FRIDAY, MA...

Cast and crew has finished performing Midsummer Jersey. The play was a resounding success by all accounts.

 
Laporte was awarded a $10,000 grant to purchase STEM carts.

NO SCHOOL NEXT MONDAY, JANUARY 16
 
1.         Attention one act play participants: One act rehearsal will begin in Mr. H's room at 3:30 today. See you then.
 
2.         If you are 14 years old or older, you may sign up for driver education class.  Students who are 14 years old must wait until they are 15 to take the permit test, but they may take the class when they are 14 years old.  Classes will be held in Mrs. D’Alessandro’s room.  Ms. Mrazek will be teaching the class.  Also, this is only the classroom portion, you will need to find behind-the-wheel instruction through another source.  If you are interested, please sign up in the office.
 
3.         Girls’ varsity game Monday, January 16 at 5:30 at Nashwauk-Keewatin.  Bus leaves at 3:00.

1.         The drama club is in need of a few items for the one act play. As always, your help is greatly appreciated.  -- John
 

  • Apple IIe or equivalent 1990ish computer
  • Swivel-type bar stool, with or without a back
  • Tiered flower stand for funeral-type floral arrangement
  • Decorative flower baskets, plastic or silk
  • Rotary phone, 1980s
  • Doctor's treatment table (massage table?)

2.         Hello everyone, Susan Gustafson had foot surgery yesterday and will be off of work for at least 10 days. We would like to send her a little something to let her know we are wishing her well. If you would like to contribute there is a card in the office. Questions can be directed to Dory. Thanks so much,
