Hello!  My name is Mrs. Dierkhising.  I have been a employed by the Laporte School District since student teaching here during the 1984-85 school year.  I have had many roles during my time here, some of which include coaching (volleyball, basketball, and softball), working with classroom teachers as a paraprofessional, and a classroom teacher for 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades.  My current role is that of a k-5 reading and math interventionist.  I love working with children and feel very fortunate and honored to be able to tell people that I have spent my entire teaching career at Laporte School.
