Karen Komulainen, Social Studies/Spanish, Grades 9-12

It seems unreal to state that I am in the midst of my 27th year at Laporte!! I began my teaching career 29 years ago in eastern Colorado and moved to northern Minnesota in 1997. Each day at our school is a new adventure and I am happy to report that I still love what I do! I enjoy teaching Spanish and Social Studies to 9-12th grade students. I think we have a spectacular staff at our school this year and I envision great things happening as the year continues. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you may have.
