Hi, I am excited to be working with Laporte’s youth and families and to be part of the team! As of the ’23-’24 school year I have been contracted & licensed as the Birth through age 6 Special Education Teacher. This means I will provide Home Visits, case manage and teach many of our youth in adaptive ways! I will advocate for inclusivity and individualized programming, supporting the best outcome. I have a strong belief we can make a difference through early education.

Fun Fact: I am certified in Soma Yoga! I used to own a Yoga Studio and still teach yoga classes!

I received my Bachelor’s of education through Marshall MN. I studied both majors of Early Childhood & Special Education, with the desire to be a Special Education teacher always wanting to support the students who needed it most. I first received an Associates Degree in Paraprofessional Education. I also studied graphic design and many healing arts subjects including yoga certification from Yoga North Duluth.

I have four children and a dog. I live in Park Rapids. I have traveled a lot! I was born in Hawaii and I lived in New Zealand for almost 5 years! I love adventures, exploring nature and being outdoors.
